Windstream Corp.
this week brought its high-bandwidth Ethernet, of up to 1gbps, in Akron, Columbus and Dayton, Ohio; Indianapolis, Ind.; Wichita, Kan.; Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Okla.; northwestern Arkansas; Augusta, Ga.; Baton Rouge, La.; and Mobile, Ala.

Windstream said its Ethernet comes with symmetrical upload and download speeds, and dedicated connections. Ethernet also costs less per megabit than T1, frame relay or private line Internet access, which means companies can cut costs while increasing efficiency.

The Arkansas-based company said its MPLS networking products give customers private, multi-site data connectivity for corporate headquarters, branch offices and other locations.
